Kratos God of War Minion

A contest winner of my email newsletter won a commission Minion. He chose to have a Kratos from the God of War game. They are made from pill shaped pens, electrical wire for arms, and and the rest is sculpted. You can order your own by clicking here.

Doom Marine Action Figure

This was a quick commission I made for Renae De Liz, who happens to be an amazing artist.  This was a Christmas present for her son.  This project really brought back memories.  I loved that game so much as a kid so I'm glad kids today can still enjoy the classics.

The figure was made using the body of a G.I. Joe Retaliation Roadblock action figure.  The mask was made out of the gas mask from a G.I. Joe Retaliation Trooper figure.  I sculpted armor for the upper body, the boots, and around the mask.

She-Hulk Action Figure

For all the folks that know me I'm a huge She-Hulk fan.  The Marvel Legends She-Hulk that came out had a decent sculpt, but I didn't care for the hairstyle.  I decided to go with the big 80's haircut style.  On top of that both of her hands are open.  She punches things!

So here's my modified version of Marvel Legends She-Hulk.  I took the existing She-Hulk action figure, swapped the hair out with a Marvel Legends Phoenix hair, and swapped out the hands with DC Universe fists.

Samus Action Figure Redesign

So there was a custom contest on Figure Realm to make an armored character.  I decided I was going to  make Samus from Metroid but with some slight changes. I wanted make it so she doesn't have super huge shoulder pads anymore. The base was made from an Iron Man Movie (Wave 1 Walmart Exclusive) Iron Man - Stealth Operations suit.  The shoulder pads were made from modified ML Ant Man helmets. The gun came from some random transformer gun I had lying around. Everything else was sculpted.  The forums voted it to be a 3.05 out of 5.  Not my best work, but it was still fun to make.

Everquest Gnome Action Figure

Ok so I decided to try and go through other geek markets. So I tried out making on of my Rob's Everquest characters below.

Since I work from a 6" scale and he's a gnome I decided to use figures in the 3.75" scale to try to make it accurate if I were to do any of the regular sized characters in the future. This gnome was made from a G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra Arctic Assault Storm Shadow with a Marvel Legends Nightcrawler as the head.
