Krystal Action Figure

This was a commission I finished over the Christmas holidays that I never got around to post. Krystal is a creator owned comic book from Jaymes Reed. Krystal was made by using a DC Universe Donna Troy figure. Everything else was sculpted.

Stray Action Figure

I met a really cool friend of a friend named Vito Delsante at New York Comic Con earlier this month.  I got to talking with him and he sold me on his pitch for his new comic, Stray.  Click on the link below to check out his Kickstarter Campaign.  Please support and share it if you can.

Stray was made with a Mattel DC Superman Public Enemies action figure.  The weapon can be a bo staff, can come apart as escrima, or can be capped off as a baton.

Edit: There was an article written about this action figure on Digital Webbing!

Tribe One Action Figure

For the folks that don't know Niles Gray aka Tribe One is an incredibly awesome rapper as well as a very good friend of mine.  He even wrote the theme song to Earth's Mightiest Podcast.  So earlier in the year his girlfriend contacted me about making a Tribe One action figure for his birthday.  She wanted a super hero version of him. She wanted to make sure he had a mic with something Devil Dinosaur-ish (that's his favorite comic book character ever).

Niles in his Super-Flybrarian form.
So I talked to my fellow Earth's Mightiest Podcast co-host Alex to do the super hero design and this is the awesomeness that he came up with.  Notice the T and O logo design from Rusty Shackles.

So on to the action figure.  I ordered a Fisher Price T-rex with a poorly places trigger for chomping action.  The funny thing is that I ordered it from Ebay only to find out it's missing an arm!  So of course the only thing to do is to replace the arm with a gun!  The actual Tribe One action figure was made using a Marvel Legends Drax figure with a combination of a Black Panther collar and Dr. Doom cape.  I really didn't have the time to make the cape exactly how Alex drew it, but I think I got the point across.

Amadeus Cho Cosplay Dragon Con 2011

So now that my Adamantine Mace got to make an appearance in to Dragon Con.  I know he's a pretty obscure character, but it's awesome that I got 4-5 recognitions each day.  People even wanted to get pictures of me each day.  It was an awesome feeling.

I'm Amadeus Viet!
I even found a Hercules!
Lots of fun.  If you want check out more pics of myself and my fellow Earth's Mightiest Podcast co-host Alex you can go here.

Princess Leia Hello Kitty and Badtz Maru Han Solo

So this is something a little different from what I usually do.  My friend Mari is both a huge Hello Kitty and Star Wars fan so I decided to combine the two and make these 2 inch figurines as a wedding gift for them.  I sculpted these from scratch then glued the blasters to their hands.  Well congrats to my good friends Mari and John!

Panelsonpages.com's Paige O. Pannell

The folks of panelsonpages.com have been entertaining me with the many podcasts on their network while I'm at work.  There are really cool and talented folks on the website and so I decided to do a tribute to them by making an action figure of the mascot drawn by Ms. Kristin "Foxy" Allen.  Here she is...Paige O. Pannell.  Check out pictures of her here

Paige was made with a DCU Donna Troy base, a ML Elektra head, and a DCU Superman cape.
